Nothing you type

This site has no contact form, no patient portal and no login. There is nowhere on it to enter your name, your details or anything about your health. Appointment booking is handled by a separate service — see below.

Standard server logs

Our hosting provider records ordinary web server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Analytics and advertising cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are read, which search terms bring people here, roughly where visitors are located. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to see which advertisements lead to appointments, and we may use Google Ads remarketing, which allows advertisements for the practice to be shown to you on other websites after you have visited ours.

These work through cookies and similar identifiers set by Google in your browser. They record behaviour on this website. They do not have access to your dental records, and we do not combine them with any patient information.

Google

Four Google services appear here: Analytics, Ads, the embedded map on our contact page, and the typeface the site is set in. Each of these means your browser contacts Google and Google receives your IP address. Google’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Online booking

The “Book an appointment” buttons take you to flexbook.me, a separate scheduling service. Once you are there you have left this website, and anything you enter is governed by that service’s own privacy terms, not this page.

Nobody else

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with data brokers, advertising networks beyond Google, or anyone else for their own purposes.

Google’s own controls

You can turn off personalised advertising from Google, including anything we run, at adssettings.google.com. The Network Advertising Initiative offers a combined opt-out for many advertising companies at optout.networkadvertising.org, and the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info.

Analytics

Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting anything, on any website, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your browser

Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a private browsing mode. Blocking cookies on this site costs you nothing — there is no functionality here that depends on them.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to share your information for targeted advertising.

Please do not email us health information

Ordinary email is not a secure channel and we cannot protect what is sent over it. Do not send X-rays, medical history or details of your condition by email. Call us and we will arrange a secure route, or bring records with you.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We treat patients from age 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site.

Links out

Where we link to other websites — the booking service, Google Maps, our Instagram — those sites have their own policies and we are not responsible for them.

Changes

If we change what we collect we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
